Why should I choose Fox Haus Event Production over another company?
Fox Haus offers personalized DJ services for your event. We work with you to ensure that the important details of your day are set and effectively communicated to your DJ. Where can I find your pricing?
Pricing is available by contacting us with your event details. Most inquiries are responded to within 1-2 business days.
Can I choose my DJ?
We encourage you to review our Meet Our DJs video! Please let us know if someone stands out to you. We can confirm their individual availability. If you do not have a strong preference, we are happy to help match you - please share any qualities you are (or are not) looking for in a DJ/MC, any music preferences, or overall goals for your event.
Does the DJ also act as the MC for my event?
In the vast majority of cases, yes! Our DJs also provide master of ceremonies services to engage guests while ensuring the appropriate energy for that event type. If you are looking for increased interaction (i.e. games, mitzvahs, etc.), ask us about pricing for an additional team member!
How will Fox Haus Event Production assist in planning the details of my event? How do I communicate those details to my DJ?
About 4-6 months out, you will receive a questionnaire that provides helpful planning tips and are an easy way for you to share the details of your day with your DJ. (Additional questionnaires may be provided if you have Ceremony Coverage or photo/mirror booth services.) You can share playlists, "do not play" lists, important moments, names & order of people being introduced, officiant/your microphone preferences for ceremony, etc. You can save your work in progress and changes can be made up to 10 days out. Our team is available to support you & answer questions at any point! While many clients do not feel the need to meet with their DJ prior to their event (We make communication easy!), introductory Zoom meetings can be facilitated. Clients find meetings most effective about 2 weeks out, to review final details or any last minute updates.
How can I secure the date for my event?
Once a proposal is accepted, we follow up with a contract and retainer invoice to lock in the date/services. A 30% non-refundable retainer is due at booking.
When is the remaining balance due?
Final balance invoices are emailed about 6 weeks prior to an event and due 10 days out. If additional services are added after initial booking, a second retainer may be required.
What type of payments do you accept?
Our invoices are generated through a secure QuickBooks online portal, which can initiate bank transfer. Checks can be addressed to: Fox Haus Event Production, 536 Federal Rd, Brookfield, CT 06804. Cash or card payments (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) may be available upon request.
Do you offer a discount for active military, veterans, first responders, etc.?
At this time, these discounts are not available. We apply any off-season rates. DJ services can be packaged/bundled with particular lighting & photo booth options.
How far in advance should I book?
If you have reserved your date with your venue, you are ready to book your DJ! For lighting & fabric decor and photo booths, we recommend reserving our services no later than 4-5 months in advance.
I’d like to see the DJ perform at an event. Is that possible?
Since the majority of our events are private and by invitation only, out of respect for our clients and their venues, we are usually unable to have other clients/perspective clients attend. Check our our reviews & ask if we are able to provide videos of your DJ in action.
